Charlotte Hockersmith, 26 Oct 1822 Signed Levy Hagler and Jacob Hockersmith Ceremony performed by Thomas Ballew of the Baptist Church Note: I do not know why the date is wrong here. Must just be a misprint since we have a copy of the actual marriage bond. One of the first settlers of Randolph County, MO., having purchased the old homestead 1 1/2 miles souheast of Huntsville, MO. in 1833-34 under the Land Grant Program. A descendant of the Woodson Hagar family believed Levi and Charlotte were buried on private property. The farmer who purchased the property had a pond built on the old gravesites.
