     Mathew Crowe was born circa 1805.1 He was the son of Job Crowe and Civilar Dumford.1

Mathew Crowe married Elizabeth Crowe, daughter of John Crowe and Martha Bybee, at Estill Co., Kentucky.1

Mathew Crowe married Nancy Gravitt, daughter of George W. Gravitt and Hannah Bowler, on 29 December 1839 at Clark Co., Kentucky; George Gravitt 27 Dec 1839 for daughter Nancy to marry Mathew Crow S/Ellis Gravitt.2,3
