     Rebecca Ellis was born in August 1827 at Kentucky.2,3 She was the daughter of Elias Ellis and Nancy Gritton.1

Rebecca Ellis married David Sigler on 1 July 1843 at Harrison Co., Indiana, when she was 15; Affidavit by Elias Ellis.2 Rebecca Sigler was enumerated as Rebecca Sigler on the Census of July 1860. She is age 32 and was born in KY.4 She was enumerated as Rebecca Sigler, wife on the Census of 2 June 1900. She is age 72 and was born in Kentucky in Aug. 1827. She has been married 57 years. She is the mother of two children, one of whom is still living. Both of her parents were born in Kentucky.3
