This Deed made and entered into this the 27 day of May, 1947, by and between Nannie Ashby (formerly Nannie Cole) a widow of Emery E. Ashby, also widow of W. M. Cole, both deceased, of the County of Lake and the State of Indiana, Party of the first part, hereinafter designated Grantor and B. C. Arrington and wife Okra Arrington, of Buncombe County, North Carolina, Parties of the Second Part hereinafter designated Grantees.
Now therefore, in consideration of the sum of One ($!.00) Dollar and other valuable considerations paid to the Grantor by the Grantees, the receipt of which is hereby acknowledged, Grantor has bargained and sold and by these presents does bargain grant sell and convey to the said Grantees, and their heirs all that certain piece, parcel of lot of land lying and being in Leicester Township, Buncombe County, North Carolina on Gooch's Branch and being lot # 8 in the division of the Malissa Cole lands particularly described as follows.
