On 18 February 1929 at Centerville, Appanoose Co., Iowa, George William Ashby, Howard Ray Ashby and Grover Everett Ashby was/were named as George Washington Ashby's son in George Washington's obituary. Amanda America Wallace, Ida May Lee and Dessie Manson was/were named as George Washington Ashby's daughter in George Washington's obituary.11
