Allen married Elsie Elvessa Ellis, daughter of Walter Ellis and Emma Elvessa Mason, on 14 February 1930 at (probably) Appanoose Co., Iowa.1,3 Lewis H. was enumerated with Emma Elvessa Ellis as Lewis Allen on the Census of 12 April 1930. He is a married, white, male age 22. He was first married at age 22. He was born in Illinois. He can read and write and has not attended school since September 1, 1929. He is a foreman in a poultry house.1

Lewis H. Allen died in 1975 at age 67 years.2
