    In the name of God amen, I, Abraham Baugh of the County of Powhatan, being well in health and in perfect mind and memory praised be God, do make and ordain my last Will and Testament in manner and form following. I lend my well beloved wife Judith Baugh the use of my land and plantation that I now live on also three Negroes called Frank, Nance, and Lewis during her natural life, and then to descend to my two sons William Baugh and Abraham Baugh as I shall hereafter mention.

    I also lend my well beloved wife Judith Baugh all my stock of horses, Cattle, sheep and hogs, household and kitchen furniture, plantation utensils all except such part as I shall hereafter give away and at her death to descend to my son Abraham Baugh to him his heirs and assigns forever.
    I give and bequeath to my son Thomas Baugh one Cow and calf, one feather bed and furniture to him his heirs and assigns forever.

    I give and bequeath to my son Joseph Baugh one negroe boy called Ned and one Coe and Calf to him his heirs and assigns forever.

    I give and bequeath to my son Amasa Baugh one negroe called Jacob to im his heirs and assigns forever.

    I give and bequeath to my son Alexander Baugh one negroe called Pompey to him his heirs and assigns forever.

    I give to my son Abraham Baugh one negroe called Stephen and Sorrel Mare, one Cow and Calf and after the death of my said wife I also give and bequeath to my asaid son Abraham Baugh the land and plantation whereon I now
    live with all the rest of my estate both real and personal I have lent my said wife to him his heirs and assigns forever.

    I give and bequeath untomy son William Baugh all the rest of my Land on the eat side of Abraham Baughs line
    including a small field and Loghouse and also Shop. Beginning at Swift Creek on a small branch up the branch to a large gulley to the road and so agreeable to the last survey to him his heirs and assigns forever.

    I give and bequeath to my daughter Rhoda Blackbourn Two negroes called Saru and Olive to her heirs and assigns forever.

    I give and bequeath to my daughter Mary Routten two negroes called Tobb and Rose during her natural life they and their increase to be equally divided between the heirs of her body lawfully begotten to them their heirs and assigns forever.

    I give and bequeath to my daughter Judith Johnson
    Two negroes called Sall and Luce during her natural life. Then they and their increase to be equally divided between the heirs of her body lawfully begotten to them their heirs and assigns forever.

    Lastly I appoint and ordain my said Wife Judith Baugh and my Son Abraham Baugh to be my hole and Sole Executors of this my last Will and Testament. I desire my estate may not be appraised. In Witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affix my seal this twenty third day of October one Thousand seven hundred and ninety four.

    At a court held for Powhatan County the sixteenth day of August 1797. The last Will and Testament of Abraham Baugh deceased was proved by the oath of Poindexter Noell and Aaron Haskins two of the witnesses thereto and it is ordered to be recorded and on the motion of Abraham Baugh the executor
    therein named who made oath thereto and together with Henry W. Watkins, John Cheatwood and Benajah Watkins his securities entered into and acknowleged their bond in the penalty of Seven thousand dollars conditioned as the law directs, certificate is granted him for obtaining a probate in due
    form and libertyes reserved for Judith Baugh the excutrix named in the said Will to join when she shall think fit.
