     Elizabeth A. Baugh was born on 17 March 1835 at Russell Co, Kentucky; USGenWeb record shows 17 mar 1835; RootsWeb record shows Mar 1836-1837.1,2,3,4 She was the daughter of Darius Baugh and Sarah Triplett.1

Elizabeth A. Baugh married Jacob Fowler, son of Isaac Fowler and Margaret Logsdon, on 21 December 1854 at Putnam Co, Missouri, when she was 19.1,5,6,7

Elizabeth A. Fowler was enumerated with Jacob Fowler as Elizabeth Fowler on the Census of 12 June 1860. She is listed as age 25 and born in KY..8

Elizabeth A. Fowler was enumerated with Jacob Fowler as E. L. Fowler on the Census of 2 August 1870. She was listed as age 35, born in Ken and keeping house. She cannot read or write.9

Elizabeth A. Fowler was enumerated with Jacob Fowler as Elizabeth A. Fowler, wife, on the Census of 14 June 1900. She is a white female, aged 66 and born in Mar 1834. She was born in Kentuck as were both her parents. She has been married 44 years. She speaks English but cannot read or write.11

On 18 December 1909 Mrs. Elizabeth Fowler died Saturday morning aged about 75 years. She was ill but a short time with paralysis, having taken ill Sunday. She bore her suffering with patience and was conscious until the end. She leaves a husband, two children and a long list of friends to mourn her departure. Remains were interred the Summers Cemetery Sunday.12

Betsy Ann Baugh was shown as the mother of Jacob Colman Fowler on the Death Certificate for Jacob Colman filed 17 February 1948.14
